What is
Light Lab PRO?

About the tool

Light Lab PRO is a Unity game engine tool useful for managing lighting in games, movies, visualization, and 3D applications. It offers presets, effects, color switcher, sound effects, basic settings editing, rotator mode, firefly mode, and day and night cycle feature.

Lighting FX & Settings

The lighting editing tool in Unity offers a range of features to enhance your scene's lighting. It includes a scene lights list to enable editing and toggling lights, a presets section for basic settings, and effects like gradual, strobe, gradual+strobe, step sequencer, and sound reactor. Additionally, the color changer tool allows for color changes and behavior adjustments, while sound effects react to light intensity. Basic settings for each light can also be edited.

Light Animator

The Light Animator window is a powerful tool that offers two unique effects - Rotator Mode and Firefly Mode. With Rotator Mode, you can easily add rotation to your lights using various patterns and behaviors. On the other hand, Firefly Mode allows you to add a fluttery and organic movement to your lights or tweak the effect to make it linear.

Rotator Mode user interface

Rotator Mode

With Rotator Mode you can apply different types of rotation animation to lights in your scene. Just select which of the rotations you want and adjust the values.

Firefly Mode user interface

Firefly Mode

On Firefly Mode, lights get a fluttery, jittery, or linear movement inside a Motion Area. This powerful feature allows you to add multiple lights to the same Motion Area or place them on separate ones. You can adjust speed and jitter to achieve organic or linear movements.

Day & Night Cycle

Take control of the sky lighting

Apply this effect to your directional lights to include a day & night cycle in your scenes.
